Hydrothermal Energy

Hydrothermal Energy refers to the electricity or heat energy produced from hydrothermal heat. In a geothermal power plant hydrothermal heat is used to produce steam, which then drives turbines connected to electricity generators. This is an example of converting hydrothermal heat into hydrothermal energy. When hydrothermal heat utilized and converted into electricity and other forms of energy the process is known as hydrothermal energy. For more information see Hydrothermal Heat Overview.
