EQUILIBRIUM FLOW

A limiting case of flow of a mixture of chemically reacting gases, when the reaction rates are so high that for given mass fluxes (convective and diffusion) chemical equilibrium exists at every point in the medium.
Comment. A boundary layer that has the properties of an equilibrium flow is called an "equilibrium boundary layer."
