[Resultant radiant flux]

Difference between the radiant fluxes incident on different sides of a given surface.

Comment. In particular, the resultant radiant flux on the surface of a body is the difference between the fluxes of absorbed and emitted radiation of a body (or between the incident radiant flux and the radiosity, in the case of nontransparent media).
